Kanaria Tech, Inc. was featured in TOPICS of Ritsumeikan University.
Keito Takishita and Ibrahim Orhan, co-founders and directors of Kanaria Tech Inc. have been interviewed by the Public Relations Department of Ritsumeikan University. They shared details about their backgrounds and how they came to establish the company. In addition, they enthusiastically shared not only the company's business activities, but also their previous activities, the awards they have received, and their vision for the future.
Keito was born and raised in Japan, and his experience with his father and grandfather's company was the starting point for his entrepreneurial journey. He grew up exposed to the business world from an early age and came up with the idea of an AI-based system during his high school years. He then decided to study at ISSE, the College of Information Science and Engineering at Ritsumeikan University. At the university, he worked on deepening AI technology and at the same time, deepened his studies with a view to global development. In particular, his participation in the Global Education Program in NASA had a significant impact on his career.
Ibrahim is originally from Turkey and has been interested in science since childhood, with a deep interest in biology and medicine in particular. He built on his academic accomplishments at MIT, where he became intensely aware of the importance of AI and programming. He also sought ways to apply his knowledge and contribute to society. Through his studies in Japan, he was exposed to different cultures and values, while honing his entrepreneurial perspective.
All Kanaria Tech team members will continue to utilize their own experiences and learnings to expand into new markets and challenges, aiming for further innovation and global expansion.
