As part of the program, Kanaria Tech received access to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) credits, mentorship from Google engineers, and support across tools like Vertex AI, Firebase, and other advanced developer platforms. These resources are directly contributing to the rapid development of the Kanaria Robotic Model (KRM), an AI foundation model designed to enable mobile robots to operate in complex environments through autonomous perception, navigation, and interaction.

The KRM system processes multimodal data including vision, voice, LIDAR, and depth and integrates it into a unified framework that allows robots to adapt and make decisions in real time. Google Cloud’s scalable infrastructure has allowed the team to accelerate both training and simulation pipelines while significantly reducing deployment and operational complexity.

Joining the Google for Startups program not only provides access to powerful cloud and machine learning tools but also connects Kanaria Tech to a global community of startups tackling challenges in AI, robotics, and deep tech. The program also opens new opportunities for joint research, validation support, and introductions to international partners.

This milestone reflects Kanaria Tech’s continued growth as a robotics company working to address pressing social issues in Japan including labor shortages, demographic shifts, and the need for intelligent infrastructure. As the company moves toward real-world robot deployment in educational, industrial, and public spaces, the backing of global leaders like Google is helping to turn advanced robotics into practical solutions for society.
