Last week, our team had the pleasure of joining the New Japan Summit  a gathering of bold startups, thoughtful investors, forward-thinking corporates, and visionaries working to shape Japan’s future. And we’re still buzzing with energy from the experience!

Held in Tokyo, this summit was more than just a startup event, it was a space where ideas collided, unlikely collaborations sparked, and everyone shared one goal:

reimagining Japan through innovation, design, and technology.

Why We Went

At Kanaria Tech, we’re building autonomous robots that can work alongside people in everyday environments from campuses and public spaces to rural farms and logistics centers. So naturally, we jumped at the chance to connect with others thinking about how to solve Japan’s most pressing challenges, especially as our country faces labor shortages, demographic shifts, and social transformation.

Highlights

  • We had great conversations with fellow founders and deep tech builders doing inspiring work in AI, climate, and health.

  • Several people stopped by to talk about our Kanaria Robotic Model (KRM) and we were excited to hear how much interest there is in human-robot collaboration.

  • The panel discussions hit close to home, especially those about scaling meaningful technology, public-private partnerships, and the future of cities.

What’s Next

Events like this remind us why we started Kanaria Tech in the first place: to create robotics that actually work for people, not just in theory, but on real streets, in real schools, and in real communities.

We’re thankful to the organizers and everyone who made the summit so dynamic and welcoming. And to everyone we met let’s keep the conversation going. We’re always open to collaboration, joint research, or even just a good cup of coffee.

Stay tuned we’ve got a lot more coming soon.Let’s keep building the future of Japan, together.
